Solar radiation data collected in Davis, California

Approximate location:  38°32’13” N 121°45’9″ W

Description:  Data were collected beginning October 2001 using five LiCor LI-200 Pyranometers (Li-Cor, Lincoln, Nebraska) measuring global sun and sky radiation at five different angles as noted by year in the field tables below.  Note that the angles for two of the pyranometers were adjusted at the start of 2003.  Air temperature was measured from the start.  Rear surface temperature of a nearby photovoltaic module (#Z216) was measured beginning in 2003.

Sampling:  Data values are hourly averages of samples collected at one minute intervals.  An end-of-hour convention is used for the time stamp.

File format:  Data are saved in comma delimited text files for download. Field descriptions are as follows:
